We believe that everyone is called to make a difference! At Abide, one way we make a difference is through our Lighthouses. When a lighthouse family moves in, crime is proven to drop by 75% in that neighborhood. Our dream is to see every neighborhood in North Omaha revitalized.
what is a lighthouse?
A lighthouse is a renovated home occupied by leaders who love their neighbors in tangible ways.
What do Lighthouse Leaders do?
connect
They connect with neighbors at least 2-3 hours a week by having dinner with them, engaging in outdoor activities, doing neighborhood beautification and more! They find ways to use their gifts to impact those around them.
CAre
They care for neighbors in tangible ways, leading them to programs offered on the Better Together Campus like dance, sports, counseling, and more. See all the campus has to offer and more here.

They call their neighbors towards a purposeful life where they can become the leaders God has called them to be!
Children who experience purposeful
